The Cove

DOCUMENTARY FILMING can change the world when it raises awareness of those stories previously unheard and unseen. THE COVE is a testament to such results. Since being released the film has gathered fans and support exponentially over the months which has resulted in positive actions to stop the horror that was being carried out in Taiji, Wakayama, Japan.
The film was directed by former National Geographic photographer Louie Psihoyos and the documentary has won several awards and is considered for best documentary in this year's Academy Awards.
The film was shown at the 2009 Tokyo International Film Festival.[21] The film was reported to have received an enthusiastic reception. Japanese viewers interviewed after the film expressed incredulity and outrage.
Go see it, join the action. Humankind. Dolphins await your help.
