Hey Tiger...
KUNG HEI FAT CHOY! HAPPY NEW YEAR for those who follow the Chinese Calendar, February 14th is the first day of the Year of the Tiger. May you ROAR in the year and achieve the beauty & grace of the finest cat of them all.
Research suggests the tiger began evolving 3.2 million years ago! Fewer than 3500 tigers are thought to survive in the wild. Thanks to studies from Professor William Murphy, Dr. Gang Li and Brian Davis. The Amur tiger, the largest cat of all is thought to have fewer than 35 individuals living in the wild today. The photograph above is of a Bengal tiger named Narayana.
